A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
Jacksen Kargol
By definition doodling is something done while one's concentration is on something else, like when talking on the phone or sitting in a boring classroom, or while watching tv. In some ways I feel I have turned this definition around. My concentration is on doodling while life itself happens around me. I find drawing, the act of moving the pen, the sound of it marking the paper to be a meditative practice. I can immerse myself, and sometimes I can even get lost, in the smooth, polished lines of my drawings.

Jacksen was born in Iowa in 2000. After several years moving around the country with his two artist-parents when he was small, his family has settled back in Iowa. He is currently attending William Penn University majoring Film and New Media. He plans to continue the family trade, inspiring people around him and making the world a little more beautiful with his art.
